Overview

During 2007 the cottage has undergone a major refurbishment and the interior has been beautifully designed to provide a very special holiday experience. With lots of extra touches your stay at Admiral Cottage will be one you will talk about and remember for a long time.

The Cottage is Victorian and is situated in the delightful village of Meads, on the outskirts of Eastbourne just a few hundred yards from the seafront. It comprises of a living room with through dining room, kitchen and a luxury bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin and a sofa bed in the living room. The living room has a digital flat screen TV with DVD and CD players. The cottage can accommodate up to six people. Outside is a superb courtyard garden which is ideal for al fresco breakfasts, lunches or BBQs. The courtyard can be accessed from the dining room onto a decked area for after dinner drinks or from double doors leading from the kitchen. The cottage is equipped with a BBQ and also picnic equipment for those memorable walks on the South Downs or days relaxing on the beach.
Fresh flowers and a tea tray will welcome you and a bottle of wine chilled in the fridge will get you straight in the holiday mood. Our bedrooms are elegantly furnished with comfortable beds and crisp designer linens, a choice of pillows and duck down quilts. Likewise, the bathroom has a selection of quality toiletries and plenty of generously sized soft towels. We also provide dressing gowns for the use of our guests during their stay.

Admiral Cottage is a great base for touring or simply relaxing and is a tranquil setting for all seasons.

The Cottage contains our Eastbourne Holiday Cottages “Out and About Box” which provides information of local attractions, walks, Ordinance Survey Maps, bus and railway timetables and food and pub guides. The cottage has a pair of binoculars which are available for guests to use.

Admiral Cottage is in the delightful village of Meads on the outskirts of Eastbourne. The villgae has a wealth of amenities including two pubs, a restaurant, coffee shop, supermarket, a bank and various other retailers. The property is only 200 meters from the sea front and a short walk from the beautiful South Downs. It is an ideal location to explore the many attractions of East Sussex and the south coast. The Cottage is approximately 20 miles from Brighton which can be reached by local bus or train.

The bathroom is supplied with toiletries and there is an indulgent roll top bath. Kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and oven and hob. All crockery and kitchen utensils are provided. The living room has a sofa bed, two armchairs, flat screen TV and DVD. The dining room has a table and six chairs. Outside there is a lovely courtyard garden which is ideal for BBQ's or alfresco dining.
