This charming cottage in the ancient village of Piddlehinton, lies in the Piddle Valley, some 5 miles from the county town of Dorchester. It is very well equipped and newly furnished to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a bridle path adjacent to the cottage and a wealth of footpaths give you a multitude of walks to follow. Two inns lie within walking distance.

On the ground floor there is a porch leading to a sitting room with large character fireplace and electric 'woodburner', two double leather sofas, a storage coffee table and storage cabinet. There is a television, video player and DVD player with a supply of films.
This room leads to both the kitchen/dining room and to a second reception room which may be used for quiet reading or as a games room. This second room has a double sofa bed, a coffee table, a bookcase with a range of books (fiction, local history and walks) and a chest of drawers with a selection of over 20 games for you to enjoy. There is a CD player and radio.
Both reception rooms lead to a newly fitted kitchen with dining area. Here you will find an oven with hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge and freezer and all the kitchen equipment you need for a self catering holiday. There are plenty of cupboards, generous worktops and even a range of cookery books. There is a coat rack and space below to keep your wellies! A dining table and four chairs is at one end of this room adjacent to French doors leading to the garden.
There is a downstairs cloakroom.
On the first floor of the cottage, the master bedroom has a double bed with Sealy pillow top sprung mattress, 2 bedside cabinets with dimmable bedside lights, a chest of drawers and built in wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. The windows offer a view of The Old Rectory. There is an en-suite shower room with electric shower, mirror and shaving point.
A second bedroom has twin beds with sprung mattresses, a bedside cabinet and a built in wardrobe with hanging space and shelf. An iron and ironing board is supplied. There is a bathroom opposite the second bedroom.
