Overview

Jay Cottage was built in 1751 wand was originally an inn. Although now offering modern day comforts, the character and charm still remains. The bedrooms have wonderful views overlooking the valley. They are tasteful, yet comfortable, centrally heated with en-suite facilities, colour televisions and hospitality trays.Jay Cottage is well situated for walkers with a number of walks leaving from the doorstep and others within easy driving distance. Sumptuous full English breakfasts are served in the cottage dining room. (Alternative menus also available). If you would like an evening meal during your stay, we serve traditional, home cooked food sourced as locally as possible. Cost per person £12.50 for two courses, including after dinner coffee and mints/biscuits. We have recently been awarded FIVE STARSfor very high standards of food safety management and being fully compliant with food safety legislation. There is a large drive beside cottage for parking.Jay Cottage is a strictly no smoking establishment.
