Overview

Our cottage in the Yorkshire Dales, has been furnished to an excellent standard with leather sofas and cotton linen. We have one double bedroom with double bed and a smaller bedroom with twin beds.
It is in the middle of a delightful village with all amenities including village shop, two pubs, cafe and craft shop.

It is fully equipped for four people, includes the heating, and is close to the Lake District and many places of interest in the Dales.

Dent station is at the end of the dale, the highest station in England with train services to Carlisle and Leeds and occasional steam train.

There are excellent walks from the cottage either by the river through the dale or climbing the three peaks, Whernside being the closest.

The village is near to a small town of Sedbergh, book town, or Hawes which have local shops and a museum.
