Overview
This is a lovely 2 bedroom semi-detached holiday barn conversion not far from Mawgan Porth beach and has extensive country views.
The property is situated at St Columb Major which is roughly between Newquay, Padstow and Eden and is ideally placed for a beach or walking holiday.
Our local town has shops and pubs and we are 15 minutes drive to the nearest sandy beaches or coastal path. The local pub at St Mawgan village does great food and there are other excellent eating places nearby, we are 15 minutes from Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant at Watergate Bay and 20 minutes from all of the Rick Steins in Padstow. We have golf courses nearby the famous Eden project which is well worth a visit.
The stay is from 2pm on your arrival Saturday to 10am on your departure Saturday.
ACCOMMODATION:
This traditional Cornish barn has undergone complete refurbishment in 2007/8 the decor is light and modern throughout.
Sleeps 4 (2 adults and 2 children) plus cot
Non smoking inside the property.
We will accept one small well-behaved dog.
The accommodation comprises a spacious living room which has a double sofa, TV with freeview, DVD player, portable CD radio stereo, dining table and chairs. The bathroom has a tiled floor and has a shower over the bath. The main bedroom has a 5ft double bed, fitted wardrobes. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge, electric hob & oven and all utensils for self-catering.
Electricity, Oil fired central heating (seasonal), duvet, bed linen are provided (please bring own towels).
Outside, the barn has a rear patio and flat grassed garden with wooden picnic table and massive parking space to the side.
