Overview

Rose Cottage is a traditional Cornish workers cottage in easy reach of Tavistock, Bodmin and both coasts. It sleeps up to 4 plus cot if required and pets are welcome. It has been renovated with many original features. Oak lintol fire places, beamed ceilings, an open fire and antique furniture makes it a cosy retreat while the modern kitchen and bathroom have all the comforts and facilities to make it a home from home including central heating and instant hot water from the large combi boiler which feeds a mains pressure thermostatic shower. TV/video/DVD CD/tuner HIFI, electric hob, fan oven, microwave, iron, Linen and towels included. A high chair and stairgate are available. The cottage is in the heart of the countryside with lots of walks and local pubs to explore.

Rose COttage is situated in the Hamlet of Golberdon which is set in rural Cornwall below Bodmin Moor. The nearest shops and pubs/restaraunts are 3 miles away but the serounding areas has several small village facilities. Nearby lakes and rivers provide water sports and fishing, while St Mellion provides golfers with a challenging course. Dartmoor and Bodim moor provide a beautiful outdoor venue and THe Eden Project is 30 minutes away. Both North and South coasts are in easy reach and several theme parks and gardens provide lots to do for the family.

The cottage comprises a large double width living room / dining room with original fire places at opposite ends. The antique furnishings together with Oak lintols, beamed ceilings and stonework that have been exposed comfortably accomodate the whole family. The main bedroom has a metal frame double bed with built in wardrobe space. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and moor built in wardrobe space. To the rear of the property, the modern kitchen has all you need from chop stick to the dishwasher. All cleaning materials and linen are provided and there is a barbeque for the patio and garden which overlooks open fields and Caradon Hill in the distance. The bathroom has a Bath/Shower with curved glass screen and a mains pressure thermostatic shower as well as WC and basin with shaving mirror etc.
