Excellent walks are to be enjoyed along the uncrowded sandy beaches nearby (also ideal for dogs). The RSPB managed Titchwell Marsh Reserve offers excellent walking and bird-watching opportunities. There is a world class golf course at Brancaster, whilst just a short drive along the coast road, the popular fishing village of Wells-next-the-Sea is renowned for its fresh seafood and excellent sandy beach. The popular seaside resort of Hunstanton offers a wealth of activities including watersports, Sea Life Centre, leisure centre (with indoor and outdoor swimming-pools), fun fair, pitch and putt, cliff-top golf courses and Blue Flag award sandy beach. Boat trips can be enjoyed from Brancaster Staithe and Morston Quay to visit the basking seals and the Scolt Head Island RSPB bird and nature reserve. Award-winning restaurants/pubs can be found nearby at Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Market. The property is also within easy touring distance of Norfolkâs finest country estates and historical houses including Houghton Hall and Holkham Hall, as well as the Royal Sandringham Estate (open to the public when the Royal Family is not in residence).
