Milton House proprietors Geoff and Sue Evans offer quality accommodation in well-appointed guest rooms. All rooms are clean and comfortable, with en-suite bathrooms, T.V. and radio, hairdryer and tea-making facilities. WiFi is also available. There is unrestricted on-street parking outside the house.

Location & area

Milton House is a Victorian villa in an area of Bath known locally as 'Poets' Corner' because the streets are named after famous poets. It is about 12 minutes' walk from Bath centre, and there are local buses which pass the door. There is unrestricted on-street parking outside.



Local facilities include two supermarkets, a chemist, a barber and hairdresser, estate agents, delicatessen, flower shop, wine warehouse, mobile phone shop, antique shop, butcher and two pub/restaurants, a bistro and an Indian restaurant.



There are many excellent walks and pretty villages nearby. Five minutes' walk away, there is a park with wonderful views over Bath.



Milton House is on the south side of Bath, on the road to Wells and Glastonbury. Salisbury and Stonehenge, the Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole and the house and wildlife park at Longleat are all within an hour's drive.



National Trust properties nearby include Prior Park and Stourhead, as well as the village of Lacock, used as the picturesque location for the filming of Persuasion and Cranford.
