This delightful Derbyshire self catering cottage sits in a peaceful, private location at the edge of the magnificent Peak District National Park. This 5 star holiday cottage is located just outside the pretty market town of Ashbourne and is close to the theme park of Alton Towers and Carsington Water Sports centre.

Full of character, with ancient oak beams in every room, inglenook fireplaces with wood burning stoves and pretty leaded glass windows.The gardens are beautifully landscaped with lawns, secure ponds, orchards, patio and BBQ with ample off road car parking.

The cottage has 5 bedrooms, 1 of which is en suite, a master bathroom with Victorian style bath and a second walk in shower. There are 3 WC within the cottage. The lounge and dining rooms are seperate and provide a wonderful atmosphere for dining with friends and family. Off the dining room is a delghtful farmhouse kitchen of antique pine units with tiled and granite worktops.A full electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, auto washer and tunble drier are provided.

The cottage has a teletext TV, DVD, Video player and Hi Fi.A hearing device is available for the hearing impaired.
Beautiful fixtures and fittings and antique pine furniture finish off this delightful cottage. All linen, electicity and full central heating is included.

Within 10 miles are Midland Steam Railway, Crich Tramway Museum, Wirksworth StoneCentre, Gullivers Kingdom and Heights of Abraham cable cars,Chatsworth House, Kedleston and Haddon Halls, Paint Ball and Quad Bikes, Archery and Clay pigeon shooting, fishing and golfing to name a few. Slightly further afield are Castleton Caves, Buxton, Matlcok and Bakwell famous for its puddings. Tissington Halls and Hartington cheese factory the list goes on. An excellent area for waling thr picturesque Dales or magnificent Peak District. There are amny cycle tracks in the area.
