Uzumlu is an unspoilt traditional Turkish working village -- like stepping back in time. The hub of Uzumlu village is the village square, and dotted around the square you will find the local mosque and hear the calling of Allah., arts and crafts -where you can actually watch the locals weaving on their looms in cotton, silk and wool, a bakery, shops and it has a Friday market where you can buy local produce, situated just outside the mosque. Uzumlu is known for it's fine grapes and the word "uzum" means grapes, so why not taste the local wine, eat some Turkish cuisine at some of the restaurants in Uzumlu or if you want a more informal environment why not try the local "Pide" pizza or have a bite to eat at the local Uzumlu cafe and bar.
