Uzumlu is situated in the foothills of the Taurus mountains 15km inland from the Mediterranean coast of Southern Turkey and its' beautiful beaches.
Translated, Uzumlu means grapevine and offers a taste of the real Turkey in a peaceful and beautiful area of countryside. The Greco-Roman ruins of the ancient Lycian city of Cadianda lie above the village and can be seen on a days walk into the mountains, which are in fact snowcapped above 2000m between December and April.
A 5 minute walk from the villa takes you to the village centre where there is a variety of restaurants, a barber, a baker, wine house and shops which sell natural locally grown food.
There is a timetabled minibus service into the charming harbour town of Fethiye and beyond for those explorers amongst you.

Constructed of local stone, Pine Villa is very spacious with an open plan lounge/kitchen diner, two bathrooms, a master bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with 2 single beds.
The pool and gardens are maintained daily providing an environment that is attractive and secure. The villa is so named due to the pine-scented breezes generated by the surrounding mountains, one of the factors making the area a mosquito free zone.
The large balcony provides panoramic views of the Uzumlu vista; a great place to watch the sunset with a bottle of locally produced wine or juice.
Airport transfers and car hire can be arranged upon request. Information and advise on low cost flights to Dalaman can also be provided.
