Overview
Kaya is a unique place, steeped in history. An unspoilt, picturesque area surrounded by farmland and mountains, the landscape includes a deserted, late-medieval village. Wander around and take in the sense of Greek history which permeates the ruins and enjoy stunning views at night when they are beautifully lit up. Visitors can enjoy a traditional meal in one of the local restaurants, or take a trip to one of the quieter local beaches.
The Village is a perfect location, very close to beaches and a short journey to many of the coasts famous resorts yet in a quiet setting.

Kaya Village is located just 8km from the harbour Town of Fethiye in Southwest Turkey where the Mediterranean and Agean Oceans meet.
The beautiful coastline is referred to as The Turquoise Coast . The iconic Oludeniz beach is 10km drive. The quieter Gemiler Beach bay is just 5km away and both are accessible by local bus.
The Lycian/Roman fortress ruins of Tlos and the stunning Saklikent Gorge are within 1 hours drive from Fethiye and are worth a visit as well as other historical sites, beaches, beauty spots and museums.
Kaya is 1 hour drive from Dalaman Airport and 3-4hrs from Antalya airport.
The Village itself is in the Kaya Valley, a flat area surrounded by mountains, natural pine forest and unspoilt beaches. Nearby Fethiye town has a big open Market day, an old bazaar type shopping area, marina, ancient rock tombs, a knights island and castle and even a Roman theatre.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
