Overview

Our lovely Apartment is built and furnished to a high standard with locally hand-crafted furniture. There is 1 double bed in the bedroom, and two large sofa beds in the lounge area. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a full size fridge/freezer, oven and hob, washing machine, toaster, kettle.
Also provided are mosquito screens, room fan, safe deposit box. We have provided cd/radio, cd's, board games,books, BBQ, picnic set, sun loungers and parasols for your pleasure.
The Apartment is on a very peaceful complex, set amid well maintained landscaped tropical gardens and 5 pools. Although in a idyllic location, it is not isolated and a 3 minute walk will bring you into the heart of the village centre where you can enjoy the friendly hospitality of the locals.

Location & area

The apartment is 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kalkan where you can enjoy the warm and friendly hospitality of the locals.
In Kalkan there are many excellent restaurants, shops selling local handcrafted goods, supermarkets, Banks, Post Office, weekly market, taxi's and buses (Dolmus).

There is a small beach along side the harbour where you can enjoy the invigorating hot springs. Also nearby is Kaputas Beach (10 mins) and Patara (20 mins) which is famous for it's stretch of white sands and architectural ruins. There are many beach clubs around the coast line and they will provide free water taxi to the club.

There are so many things to do and cultural places to see in and around Kalkan, however, most people choose to spend their days in this small piece of paradise.

Refuse is collected daily from outside of the Apartment. Weekly internal clean/linen change. Bed linen and towels are provided. Please note we do not provide Beach towels. The property and it's guests are looked after by a local agent who are very friendly and helpful.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
