Overview

A modern air-conditioned detached villa with private pool(7.5m x 3m x 1.6m deep)(no fighting for sunbeds), a south facing terrace, air-conditioning and fab views situated in an excellent central yet quiet location amidst an olive grove. Only 3 minutes walk from the centre of town - nearly all of which is on a paved road so no need for taxis or mountaineering equipment like many villas in Kalkan. 30m from a supermarket. Villa Sari has been finished to a high standard and has many interesting features and an arrangement of rooms which allows maximum privacy and unrivalled views of the bay from all the rooms. Two double bedrooms, both with large en-suite shower rooms. 3rd single bedroom (not air- conditioned). Separate lounge with large double sofa bed. Fully fitted kitchen diner. Downstairs claokroom. The villa has a fabulous secluded roof terrace. Gardens with fruit trees and flowers surround the villa.

Location & area

Kalkan is a former Greek fishing village with one of the most beautiful locations along Turkey's stunning Lycian coast. About 1.5 hours from Dalaman and situated between the soaring mountains and a beautiful bay, there are over 200 restaurants, bars and cafés (to suit all prices) tucked away – many on roof terraces providing stunning views over Kalkan bay. Many Istanbul restaurateurs have opened here which gives Kalkan a sophistication above average larger Turkish resorts.



The paths from the village centre wind down to the harbour where gullets are moored ready to take you out for a lazy day around the islands and coves. Cars are banned from the picturesque village in the evening and unlike many of the villas at the top of the mountain, Villa Sarì's location makes it ideal to walk to and from town in a matter of minutes. The Villa is only 1 min from a supermarket and 3 mins alk to town



Kalkan has escaped the mass tourism seen elsewhere due to rigorous construction regulations and the lack of a long sandy beach. Kalkan has a small pebbly beach near the harbour but most people go to the beach clubs situated around the bay for swimming, watersports or just to enjoy the bar and restaurant facilities.



Nearby Patara beach is one of the most spectacular in Europe and the 13 km of protected white sands are home to loggerhead turtles. Kaputas is another sandy beach, 5 minutes by bus/car. Outside of Kalkan there is much to see and visit. The area around Kalkan is steeped in history with many historical and cultural sights such as Myna, the ruins of Xanthos, Kekora (the sunken city), Lycian tombs and the stunning Saklikent gorge. Kaþ is 20 minutes away
