Villa Nathalie is in the heart of Kalkan's old town on Turkey's Mediterranean coast in the region of Lycia at a latitude of 36 degrees north.



Those who have visited Kalkan know how important the location of their accommodation is if you are to enjoy the amenities, beach, restaurants and atmosphere of the old town. Many villas are built on the hillside that rises steeply away from the town, or in Kisla or Kalamar and often have unmade and very steep access roads, and are a taxi ride away from where all the action is.



Villa Nathalie could hardly have been built in a better location. A three minute walk will take you down to the beach via narrow cobbled streets lined with bouganvillia hanging from old ottoman buildings and wooden balconies. Turn right and the harbour is 100 yards further with all its bars and restaurants.



Narrow streets wind up and back from the harbour revealing the gorgeous old town area and lead back to the villa. Several grocery shops and the post office for currency exchange are within 200 metres.

Amenities & services

There are four substantial bedrooms at Villa Nathalie, all luxuriously appointed with queen sized beds in the two double rooms and two single beds in the twins. All the bedrooms have good sized ensuite bathrooms with shower and ample hanging, drawer and storage space; a dressing table with mirror and bedside tables. The lighting is warm and subtle and we use only the best cotton sheets and soft plump pillows to aid a good nights sleep. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned and have spectacular ocean views from their balconies. The Double rooms are 300 square feet in size (including balconies) The twin rooms are 200 square feet in size (including balconies) The ensuite bathrooms are an additional 50 square feet The balconies have teak chairs and tables to relax and enjoy the view Downstairs the large deep rattan sofa and chairs with cream cushions give the lounge area an elegant holiday home feel and invite you to relax before dinner with a glass of chilled white wine. The kitchen is well appointed with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, 6KG load washing machine, oven, gas hob, stainless steel extractor hood and granite work surfaces. Everything you need infact to produce a feast to enjoy either outside on the dining terrace at the 2.4 metre teak dining table or inside in the beautiful dining area, with mahogany table and chairs. A downstairs bathroom with shower completes the open plan living area. Satellite television and DVD player provide entertainment when needed in the lounge area and the selection of board games are great fun to play on an evening in, outside on the dining terrace. The living area of nearly 600 square feet is well appointed, luxuriously furnished and has direct access onto the swimming pool and dining terraces. The perfect place in fact, to relax, and enjoy your holiday. The beautiful stone mosaic terraces of around 800 square feet provide plenty of space to sunbathe, swim, dine and entertain. There are luxurious teak sunbeds with thick cushions on which to relax, with a space for your drink while you soak up the Mediterranean sun and enjoy the sea views. The teak dining table which seats 8 is the perfect place to enjoy dinner under the stars, and the large teak fan back chair has pride place on the terrace in the perfect position to watch the sun set over the bay. The fresh water swimming pool is 8.2 metres by 4.6 metres wide and 5 feet deep, and has wide mosaic steps into the water. Beautiful outside lighting all around the terraces and in the pool transform the feel of Villa Nathalie at night making it a place that you will want to invite new found friends for drinks or late night swims. Bouganvillia grows down the stone walls around the villa, terracotta pots on the terraces provide scent and colour, and in the garden olive trees, palm and many other plants create a subtropical feel. You will find Villa Nathalie Olive oil pressed from our own olives in the villa to enjoy with our compliments.
