Two bedroom ground floor apartment with terrace area (including table and chairs)in front of pool overlooking the sea and Kalkan. The kitchen/lounge area is fully equipped and leads out to the pool which has sun loungers to accommodate 4 persons. Garden and pool maintained on a daily basis.

Location & area

The property is located on a hillside on the outskirts of Kalkan but all the restaurants and shops are just within a short walking distance. Dalaman is the nearest airport approximately one and a half hours drive away and transfers can be arranged to and from airport. Local car hire is available if you wish to travel further afield but is not essential. Buses are cheap and taxis reasonably priced.

Amenities & services

There are an abundance of reasonably priced excellent quality restaurants, 2 well stocked supermarkets that will deliver shopping free, plus a weekly marked held on Thursday. A pharmacy, dentist and doctor are in the town, plus post office and bank for changing money. There are also several ancient ruins all within easy reach of Kalkan. The town beach is mainly pebbles and is on the east side of the harbour. 10 minutes drive on the picturesque road to Kas is the secluded Kaputas beach. Patara beach is well known and has 18 km of golden sand about 20 mins drive and can be reached either by taxi or dolmus. A free taxi service is available to the Yacht Club and Kalamar Beach Clubs, both provide restaurants and sunbeds. The Mahal and Lycia Beach Clubs offer a free boat service from the harbour. An excellent day out is a "lazy day at sea" trip on a gulet which can easily be arranged down by the harbour.
