Closest supermarket is a 7 minute walk if you do not prefer to shop from the delicious Fish Market on Istiklal street. All cinemas, theaters, galleries line up along Istiklal Street too. Some famous restaurants are in Beyoglu/Taksim area, too. Beyoglu is a nice area to stay if you want to get into the city as a local would.
