Nearby: many restaurants, internet cafes, antique dealers and food shops (a supermarket is located 20 metres from apartment ) Pera Market where they sell fish, vegetables, and caviar. Turnacibasy sokak itself, is in the Cukurcuma Quarter, famous for its antique shops .



Finally there is a historic Turkish Bath just yards from the front door. Parking is 20 metres from the apartment.



Distances and transport:
The apartment is a couple of minutes walk from important tourist sites such as The Galata Tower, The Istanbul Modern Art Museum , Pera Market ( where they sell fish, vegetables, and caviar...) and Taksim Square. It is also within easy reach of Aya Sofya, the Blue Mosque, Topka Pipalace, and The Grand Bazaar.



Just down the hill (at most a 3 minute walk ) there is a STOP for the very efficient (and air conditioned!) tram service which provides a fast and frequent service across the Golden Horn via Galatabridge and to the port ( where ferries can be taken to cross and go down the Bosphorus). To come back up the hill there is a tiny , very picturesque tram from GalataBridge that goes all the way up Istiklal to Taksim square. There is a taxi rank in Taksim square (although taxis can be stopped anywhere) and garage parking is located 10 metres from the apartment.

The second bedroom with desk usable as study too: 2 single beds (90x 200 cm) that can be used also as a King size double bed (180 x200cm).
If the two beds are put together to form a double bed of 200 x 180 cm. ,the two mattresses fit snugly together without leaving any uncomfortable gap between them. It would be appreciated if, at the time of booking, it could be specified whether two single or one double bed would be preferred, so the necessary preparations can be made.
