The area is one of the safest districts of Istanbul. 20 minute bus ride away from Taksim Square and Sultanahmet. 15 minute walk by the sea to Bebek (one of the hip district of Istanbul) to the south and Emirgan to the north (Check the link for Google Earth). Surrounded by historical houses and nice stone paved streets.
