Villa Tuzlabeli is a large villa with its own pool set on an elevated position with views across the plain of Uzumlu to the mountains beyond. It has a fully equipped kitchen, separate dining room, open plan lounge, 5 large bedrooms and a further seating area. Location & area

Just a short walk from the villa is the traditional village of Uzumlu where you can buy local produce. There is also a post office, restaurants, wine bar, and a local market on Fridays.



The village of Uzumlu is one of spectacular natural beauty, set in a valley surrounded by dense pine forests rugged hillsides and fields of cotton, sesame, aniseed, wheat, barley and a variety of vegetables as well as apples, grapes, almonds, pears, figs and olives . At the start of the season the poppies and other wild flowers fill the meadows with an abundance of colour. It is 500m above sea level which means the cooling mountain breezes are perfect for when the local temperatures soar in the summer months. The area is steeped in history and is ideal as a base to explore the countryside including the hilltop Roman city of Cadianda approx 20mins away.



If you prefer more choice then Fethiye is just twenty minutes drive away. Here you will find bustling shops, a harbour, museum, and the large Tuesday market.



The nearest beach to Uzumlu is at Calis. It is a quiet yet busy holiday resort, with a seemingly endless beach, the shoreline is 6km long and is a significant nesting place for turtles. A good selection of bars and restaurants line the promenade. Water taxis run regularly between Calis and Fethiye Harbour.



Slightly further away are the ancient ruins and unspoilt 20km beach of Patara and also Salikent Gorge famous for Rafting.



The turquoise coast is an area of maritime beauty with many picturesque beaches and inlets some of which can only be reached by boat. One of the best known beaches being Ouldeniz 'the blue lagoon' renown for its sheltered beach and lagoon making it ideal for children and swimming, It is a short distance away from Fethiye, as is nearby Hisaronu with its lively night-life, clubs, restaurants and bars.
There are plenty of places to see as the whole of the region is steeped in history.



The international airport of Dalaman is approx 45 mins away.

We recommend you hire a car, but the local public transport into Fethiye is fairly cheap and regular.

Amenities & services

On the ground floor you will find a large fully equipped kitchen with double doors leading out onto a spacious balcony. There is also a dining room seating 10, bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower cubical, double bedroom that sleeps 2, and the open plan lounge with a sofa bed that sleeps at least 1. The lounge has patio doors leading out onto the covered terrace and pool.

Upstairs there is a Family shower room, two twin rooms that both sleep 2 but a cot/z-bed would fit in 1, and two double rooms one of which has a king-size bed and en-suite showeroom, the other can sleep 3 (1 on a sofa bed)this room also has space for a cot all but one of the bedrooms have balconies. There is also another seating area with double doors leading to a further balcony giving you the chance to enjoy some wonderful views.

The pool terrace is equipped with sun loungers, parasols etc. Wrought iron steps lead down to a lower patio area complete with built in BBQ.

There is a further patio area on the other side of the house.

Please note that to make your holiday as safe as possible a gated wrought iron railing has been put in place around the covered section of the terrace. The spacious kitchen balcony has seating to enjoy breakfast outside.

There is a selection of books, board games, CDs, and DVDs, as well as an all terrain 3 wheeler pushchair, cool bag and towels for use at the beach or out by the pool
