Overview

Dalyan is a small friendly resort, and is one of Turkey's best kept secrets, great for families with the town being sufficiently family orientated to allow teens some independance while still offering plenty for younger children and parents too.Situated on the bank of a river,the resort has some lovely clean beaches.
Villa Rosina is situated just outside of Dalyan and is only a short bus (Dolmus) ride into town, and provides an ideal place to rest after hectic days out, There's plenty to do to keep a family happy for a couple of weeks.
For the active, ther's mountain biking, sea kayaking, paragliding, diving, watersking. rafting. For the less active there is the incrdible ruins of Caunos to explore, mud and thermal baths,
boat cruises and the saturday markets.But most impressive of all are the Caretta turtles which lay there eggs on Turtle beach at Iztuzu,Foodwise expect traditional Turkish fare, as well as the more familiar pizza, the local fish is excellent, plus there are lots of meze, aubergines, kebabs, pilav (a rice dish) and borek (stuffed flaky pastry) All the resturants are very friendly and popular with families,they are always lively with a warm hospitality.
