Overview

Seventh Son Apartment is the holiday paradise of David and Anne, who are very pleased to welcome couples and families to their intimate home in the sun.

The apartment is one of 16 sharing a pool and is absolutely perfect for 2 to spend some romantic times, or alternatively will sleep in the two air conditioned bedrooms.

The apartment was only completed this year, and has not previously been rented, so everything is brand new and ready for your enjoyment.

The pool is steps away through the landscaped garden from the dining terrace so relaxing by the pool and fetching another cool drink will not be to arduous for the serious sunbather.

If you do not fancy the pool, a 10 minute stroll will take you down to one of the longest sandy beaches on the Peninsula. Spend the day down here, watching the windsurfers and enjoying lunch at one of the restaurants built on jetties jutting into the sea.

Here in the village you will find and interesting selection of restaurants, with seafood a speciality. Enjoy pizzas and pides from the wood fired ovens or fish caught that day from the restaurants along by the harbour.

There is now a small supermarket in the village where you will find all your holiday essentials. However to be truly Turkish do not buy your fruit and vegetables here, wait and go to the village market on Wednesday where you will find the most amazing selection of organic fresh produce.

What makes the apartment truly perfect, is that everything is within walking distance. The bus station with a regular dolmus service to Bodrum is only 8 minutes away, so you have the freedom to enjoy the area, without the necessity of a car.

We do have our own car hire company in Bodrum and can offer you excellent rates for airport transfers and car hire.

Location & area

Only 20 minutes by car from Bodrum and 45 minutes from the airport, Gundogan is still a small sleepy village with a Turkish community. It is not a resort made for tourists.



Between Yalikavak and Torba on the coast it enjoys off shore breezes which make it very popular with watersports enthusiasts. Whether it is a pedalo or wake boarding you fancy, the English speaking guys on the beach are happy to help and advise.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
  • If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
  • Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
