Overview

Our lovely 2 bedroom apartment, facing the pool and ornate gardens, will certain make your stay a pleasurable one.

Fully air conditioned in all rooms

Bedroom 1 = family room - king-size bed and 2 single beds

Bedroom 2 = king-size bed with ensuite Lounge / Diner with with DVD, satellite TV, and patio door out to a private balcony with views onto the pools

Solid wood table and 2 * 2 seater benches and two recliners - all with cushions (can be used indoors or outdoors)

Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle,, hob, iron and ironing board

Travel cot, high chair, plastic cutlery, a few toys and bath mat are the essentials we provide free for babies and toddlers. Cot linen is not provided

We have included the things that we consider will make your stay a pleasurable one, e.g. feather duvets, stainless steel cutlery..

Altinkum is also know as Didim, famous for its soft fine sandy beaches, as well as rich in history with the Apollo Temple Ruins just on the outskirts of the resort.

Altinkum lies on the Aegean Coast, with flights to Bodrum (1.5 hours) and Izmir (1 hour 45 minutes). Airport transfers can be arranged.

The resort itself is full of restaurants, shops and little boutiques, as well as various agencies providing tours to different historic events, such as Pamukkale and Ephesus. There is a new water park (10 minutes ride outside the resort on a dolmus). It has a host of pools, slides, and wave machines catering for all the family.

There are resort dolmuses (mini bus) that pass nearby the complex every few minutes (450m), and take you around the resort for around 40p. There is the old town, with many fine traditional good value Turkish restaurants, serving a huge selection of Turkish cuisine, as well as little streets full of various shops, as well as a huge Saturday market where all the locals shops for fruit/veg, crafts, materials, shoes, clothes, spices.

Altinkum is a resort where most of the restaurants offer a courtesy pick up and drop off service if you eat at their restaurant.

We also booked a travel lodge on the way home as we knew we would be late getting home. The flight was delayed by 3 hours, gatwick were 1 1/2 hours getting luggage through and by the time we got to the travel lodge they wouldnt let us stay. Even though we had paid and booked in Feb when we organised flights and everything else. Latest check in was 4.00am and we were there at 4.40am. Anyway, many many thanks for your first class service. Dolphin Residence 2 is one of the latest developments, an exciting and carefully designed complex in a residential area located in Altinkum / Didim Town on the Aegean Coast of Turkey. 3 pools built around a waterfall with a scatter of ornate plantation making it very beautiful indeed. Sit back.. you could be in a tropical forest!




The complex is fantastically located 450m from the Altinkum/Didim town centre where all restaurants, caf's, markets and shops are open all year round. 85km from Bodrum Airport which is open for charter flights for 7 months from UK airports. 140km from Izmir International Airport which is open whole year round for charter/schedule flights from UK Airports. There is a complex minibus to take you to the beach (5 mins drive) free, or if you prefer you can walk in about 40 minutes.



Airport transfers can be arranged for '40 each way up to 6 persons from Bodrum airport. Or '70 one way from IZMIR.



This is a holiday where you will not be needing a car. You can walk to the beaches, or take the free mini bus, walk to many restaurants.
