This brand new apartment building is situated in a unique elevated and sunny position with south facing balcony and view of the Matterhorn. Just 8 minute walk to the Sunnegga departure station and a further 4 minutes to the centre of the town. There is good local amenities (shop, take-away and restaurants) within 5 minutes walk. This 1st floor apartment is (97m²) and comprises 2 bedrooms (one double & one single/small twn), 2 bathrooms (bath/wc & shower/wc). There is an open-plan modern, well equipped kitchen, with a dining area and lounge leading onto the south facing balcony. Cable TV & DVD.

Location & area

4 1/2 hours by train with only one change from all the main airports Geneva, Zurich and Milan. Easy train connections from Geneva and Zurich airport (train station in the airport) and a possibility to obtain reduced rate train tickets if purchased before entering Switzerland. (we can advise on this). Taxi transfers available from all airports (we can organize this for you). Zermatt is a car free village so if traveling by car the you can drive as far as Tasch where you must leave the car in the main car park of one the garages and travel the last 10 minutes by train (trains run every 20 minutes) or taxi. Electro taxis are available at the train station to take you to your accommodation.

It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:

  • It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
