Overview

Chalet McCoy is located at 1000 mts. altitude at the base of the Jura Mountains. The lakeside towns of Morges, Rolle and Nyon are all about 15 minutes away, and both Geneva and Lausanne are easily reached in 35 minutes by car. There is free parking.There are good public transport connections available from St George as well.


The studio is situated on the ground floor and is private and quiet. It has lots of light and wonderful views of the lake and Alps. There is also a terrace in the garden for the quest's use. The studio is a large 36 sq. mts, and is divided into a sitting/sleeping area and a kitchen/dining area.
The sitting/sleeping area has a full-sized queen bed as well as a desk, commode and bookshelves. The kitchen/dining area contains a fully equipped kitchen and comfortably seats four. There is a separate, private bathroom with shower, 2 steps away. Other amenities include a stereo/CD player and broadband internet connection.


For business travelers, Chalet McCoy is a comfortable alternative to a hotel for short-term rental of up to 2 months. The many international company headquarters located in Aubonne, Morges, Gland and Nyon are all a very short commute. All typical hotel business services can be arranged. Any other special needs or unique arrangements can be discussed and organized on an individual basis. Prices, terms and your requirements for longer stays can be negotiated.


Sports: There are 3 small golf courses within 20 minutes, as well as a good public swimming pool 10 minutes away. There are numerous road and mountain biking possibilities starting from the front door of the chalet. From Christmas to Easter there is lift served skiing available, with 2 small lifts suitable for beginners and children available. There are endless cross country skiing possibilities right outside the front door, and several prepared tracks for 'skating' within a few minutes drive.

We can provide different kinds of sports equipment, including cross country skis, snow shoes, sleds, bicycles, backpacks, tents, hiking and camping equipment, etc, for use or rent.


The owners: Rainer and Isabelle McCoy, are German and Swiss by origin, but both spent over 20 years in the U.S. Isabelle works in project management and Rainer works in travel/tourism. They speak French, German and English.


Chalet McCoy is a completely 'non-smoking' property. Sorry, but we do not accept pets.
