Overview

A spacious one-bedroom apartment with large living room and a separate kitchen/diner situated in the beautiful village of Kandersteg. Private garaged parking.
The apartment is on the first floor of a newly-built chalet and is equipped as follows:a spacious kitchen with dining area equipped with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave oven; a large lounge with satellite television, DVD player, music centre, and a comfortable king-size pull-out sofa bed; a good-sized double bedroom with king-size bed; a shower room with toilet and wash hand basin . Bedlinen and towels are provided, the apartment has underfloor central heating, underground parking for one car, ski storage and an elevator to all floors. It is strictly a non-smoking and pet-free apartment.

The apartment is furnished tastefully and the furniture and fittings were new in December 2008. There are mountain views from every window and you can watch the sun set over the mountains from the balcony, which faces both South and West, or use the communal garden below. The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area of the village.
For transport, the main railway station is a 10 minute walk and the bus stop is one minute round the corner.
There are lots of things to do in any season. In winter, downhill and cross-country skiing, walks on cleared trails, ice-climbing, and tobogganing

In summer, walking in both the hills and the valley. All year round you can enjoy the views using cablecars, try ice-skating or curling, and enjoy good food - and all in outstanding scenery.
Kandersteg is a quiet village with very friendly people. Also in the area are Interlaken and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jungfrau Region.
