Apartment in prime Swiss Alp winter ski and summer resort in Crans Montana, Switzerland, 250 metres from the skilift and town. Beautiful views and warm atmosphere in this comfortable 2 bedroom apartment with balconies both front (south facing) and rear.Spacious, charming living room with fireplace, carpeted floors and extensive views of the surrounding Alps. The building is a typical chalet style apartment block accommodating some 22 apartments.The living room is spacious having both sitting and dining areas. Off the living room is the lovely balcony that enjoys sunshine all day and the perfect spot for relaxing and bathing in the sun with sun chairs and occasional tables.There is a separate galley-style kitchen that is fully equipped with fridge with a freezing compartment, cooker with 4 hot plates, grill and oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, slicers, pots, pans and dishwares.A corridor leads to the sleeping area and the 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other a twin room with bunk beds.There is an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, WC and hand washbasin and also a second separate bathroom with a shower, WC and hand washbasin.The building has a lift and the apartment is located on the second floor. It has been furnished with typical furnishings from the area and high quality bedding linens and curtains. At your disposal is a ski storage area and a laundry with washer and dryer. For those using public transport this is a privileged location, you can walk to the ski lift and to the town of Montana & Crans, Switzerland and there is a bus stop 5 minutes walk from the apartment building.

Location & area
Crans Montana is a first class world ski location in Switzerland and offers the best views in Europe of the whole Alps. For the shopping enthusiasts there are major top boutiques. There are also casinos, discotheques, nightclubs, cafes, ballooning, festivals, cinema with programmes in English, cross country skiing, ice skating and children slopes, horse riding both indoor equestrian and also trail rides in the summer, walking, mountain biking, swimming pool, sauna, spa/jacuzzi, tennis and language schools are also available. Despite all this the towns are both quaint, typical and small.

Amenities & services
This apartment has been our familys ski holiday home for many years. We typically spend 1 to 2 months a year here, ourselves. So, it is very clean, well-maintained, and well-appointed with every comfort, decorated in a traditional Swiss style that says "Welcome."
It is on the second story and has two balconies with good views of the Alps and the surroundings. It has 80 square metres living space, with plenty of storage including four large built-in cupboards, a large dresser, dressing table and a chest of drawers. There is also a ski locker room and a laundry room. The building is a typical chalet style apartment block accommodating some 22 apartments. There is a concierge available from 9am to 8pm.
The living room is spacious having both sitting and dining areas. Off the living room is the lovely balcony that enjoys sunshine all day and the perfect spot for relaxing and bathing in the sun with sun chairs and occasional tables.
There is a separate galley-style kitchen that is fully equipped with fridge with a freezing compartment, cooker with 4 hot plates, grill and oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, slicers, pots, pans and dishwares.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
