Location & area

Vera Playa is an excellent family resort, with long sandy "blue flag" beaches, shops, bars and restaurants catering to all tastes. Close to the beach you will find "Parque Aquatico" the only water park in the area (open June to Oct).

Close by is the resort of Mojacar with more beaches and facilities and the old village of Mojacar Pueblo, built in the Moorish style with whitewashed houses and cobbled streets. The area comes to life at "Fiesta" time with colourful parades, music, displays of horsemanship and giant paellas cooked in the village square!



Golfers are in for a treat with 4 challenging, local courses including Desert Springs championship course, reminiscent of Arizona courses.



Recently opened on Vera Playa is the new sports centre, offering gymnasium, tennis, paddle, putting green and driving range.
