- Numerous child friendly parks. Parque La Paloma in Arroyo de la Miel is a large, beautiful family park and has chickens, peacocks and rabbits roaming free. There are many beautiful plants flowers, large play areas, a cacti garden and a lake with lots of tutles and fish. Parque Batita in Torremolinos is also lovely. There is a big play area with trampolines, huge climbing frames and a lake in middle where you can hire rowing boats.



- Beautiful long sandy beaches, with local bars and restaurants that cater to all tastes.
- Puerto Marina twice voted the “Best Marina in the World. A beautiful place to go, relax, enjoy nice food / great shops. You can take a boat trip out to sea if you prefer (charter / cruise / dolphin watch / deep sea fishing).
- There are markets in Arroyo de la Miel every Wednesday and Friday.
- Sierra Nevada is only about 2 hours away by car and perfect for skiing in the winter months.
