Originally dating back to the 13th century, this resort still retains a relatively quiet atmosphere. Perhaps best viewed from the sea are the little pictureque coves that make up this area. The large natural harbour is home to the local fishing fleet and pleasure craft. The beach area of Cala Marcal is of fine sand and has a small array of pedalloes and sun-beds available.
There are a number of fine sea-food and tapas restaurants mainly centred on the harbour area with a few international restaurants to cater for the tourists.
