Location & area

Nerja is on the seashore some 60 kilometres from Malaga on the Mediterranean motorway, and marks the eastern tip of Malaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 16,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing.

Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts.

All rooms have ceiling fans. For winter stays there is gas heating, duvets/quilts for the winter as well as lighter blankets for the spring. I provide all bed linen and bath towels. Terrace equipped with table and four chairs for outdoor relaxing and/or al fresco dining.

Kitchen equipment includes fridge/freezer, washing machine, gas oven/cooker, microwave oven, electric hand mixer, cutlery, general cooking equipment/utensils, table and kitchen linen, automatic kettle, toaster, coffee percolator, crockery/dishes for baking, caseroles, etc.

The pool has a trained lifeguard on duty at all times. The pool has a shallow end and with a ramp for easy access for children and the elderly. All entrances and exits from the street to the apartment facilitate wheelchair access.
