LOCATION

Cortijo Pastor is set in the Frigiliana countryside along a 2 kilometer unmade road and offers peace, tranquility and stunning views across the countryside. ( Please read the notes regarding exact location.) Frigiliana village itself which is a short drive away, is a beautiful white washed village rich in history and once you stroll through the picturesque maze of cobbled streets, you will find plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from for an evening out. Frigiliana countryside and village is ideal for those wanting a unique experience but still desire the 'buzz' of Nerja approx 20 minutes away.



Nerja

Nerja has become one of the most popular resorts east of Málaga whilst retaining much of its old charm and character of a former fishing village. The old quarter of the town still preserves the Andalusian architectural style with the advantages of a modern town and the authentic atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast. Burriana Beach is the most popular beaches out of 5 more.



Nestled at the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountain range which shelters it from adverse winter weather and at the same time provides a breathtaking backdrop to the whitewashed red roofed villas of Nerja. Just one hour from Malaga and its international airport and yet only two hours drive from one of Spain's most popular skiing resorts -- the Sierra Nevada.



The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

The Costa del Sol has the most temparate climate in Spain. It is home to the famous Nerja caves, which were discovered in the 1950s by a local boy. They can now be explored and are occasionally used for classical music concerts.The hillsides are dotted with white villas and Nerja has been strictly protected from the high rise developments affecting other areas of Spain. A drive along the coast is the Alahambra palace of Grenada with its stunning gardens and ornate interiors, well worth a visit.
