Overview
The Edificio Torresol has lush private tropical gardens right on the Torrecilla beach, containing a large swimming pool (open from Easter to November).
There are plenty of family activities in and around Nerja, including a beach play area a minute away.
Parking is available on the quiet street outside the apartment, though shops, restaurants, Spanish 'tapas' bars and all amenities are so close that it is not really necessary to hire a car unless you want to travel outside Nerja.

Newly and completely re-furbished and re-furnished to first class standards of quality workmanship and materials, its lounge and panoramic east-facing balcony, looking right onto the beautiful Torrecilla beach fringed with palm trees, also has fabulous views to the left of the majestic Sierra Almijara mountains which encircle Nerja.
This sunny apartment, sleeping 6, is situated on the 5th floor of the Edificio Torresol (with two lifts) in a quiet cul-de-sac and seconds to the beach, yet within two minutes of the main shopping area of Nerja, and next to the exclusive 4-star Riu Monica Hotel. There are also two supermarkets within 2 and 5 minutes' walk. The famous palm-fringed Balcon de Europa with its spectacular sea and mountain panorama, including Morocco on a clear day, is only five minutes' stroll from the apartment through the charming old town.
Nerja has been described as the best coastal holiday destination in Spain on a number of occasions, the pretty fishing village of Nerja (from the Moorish word 'naricha' meaning 'rich in water') has retained its traditional Andalucian water temperatures vary only from 18ºC in winter to 24ºC in summer), or 2 aqua parks 15 kms away. For golfers the Baviera Golf Club is 15 kms away at Velez Malaga, and the Añoreta Golf Club is 30 kms away at Rincon de la Victoria.
Nerja is also a perfect base to explore the authentic Andalucia, steeped in Spanish and Moorish history and culture. Visit the Alhambra at Granada * (the finest remaining Moorish Palace in the world); Cordoba (once the premier city of the Western world where Europe's first medieval university was founded); Seville; the gorge at Ronda; Gibraltar; Tarifa for world-class windsurfing or a 30-minute hydrofoil trip to Morocco; lovely 'pueblos blancos' (white villages) such as Frigiliana; the prehistoric caves at Nerja, the second biggest in Europe; further wonderful beaches heading east along the coast to Mojacar and the Almerian coast; or enjoy superb mountain scenery in the nearby Alpujarras mountains all are within travelling distance for a perfect day's sightseeing. The Costa del Sol/Malaga area has long been a popular destination for over 30 years, with over 300 days of sunshine every year. With excellent road and rail systems travelling is very easy.
You can enjoy the history and culture of cities such as Malaga or the beautiful golden beaches along the coast. There is also walking in the mountains of Malaga or touring on the back roads of Andalucia
It is also perfect for golfers and is known as "golfers paradise" with over 60 golf courses the closest being "Baviera" (par 72) and "Anoreta" (par 71) are within a 20 minute drive.
Costa del Sol offers many adrenalin pumping activities with various water sports, it is a golfers paradise, and ideal for sunning yourself on one of the many beautiful beaches. For the culture seeking holidaymaker there are various small little hamlets built in the sides of mountains that are great for taking in some spectacular Spanish culture.
Costa del Sol is an archaeological haven, being situated at the gateway of Africa and part of the Mediterranean coastline causing it to have been inhabited by various different civilizations leaving behind little gems of archaeological history.

Rental start and finish dates are normally Saturday to Saturday in season, with more flexibility in the winter. The minimum stay is usually 7 days, though sometimes we offer a special price where we can offer a stay of less than a week.
Prices include taxes, electricity, water, bedlinen and towels, as well as pre- & post-cleaning (plus supply of fresh bedlinen and towels for guests staying more than a week). Please bring your own beach towels.
An iron and ironing board are provided, as well as an electric fan heater and a fan. Also available are cot hire at £15 per week and highchair hire at £10 per week.

Important Notice : Avoiding Fraud
It's rare, but some helpful hints to watch out for with regards to fraud:
- It is important to NEVER wire funds or use/employ other fund transfer mechanisms such as western union: Always use a credit card to protect yourself against fraud. If owners pressure you into providing a deposit or refuse to accept credit cards, there is a high probability that this is a scam.
- If at all suspicious of fraud, ask to see their website, or any other literature they can provide or send to you. Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
- Research the property thoroughly on the internet to see if there is any history or mention of scams associated with the property.
