Overview

La Madrugada (the dawn) is set, with other similarly large and exclusive individual villas, in a desirable residential location two miles along the coast, ten minutes by car, from the small coastal town of Moraira.
Built on the top ridge of a pine covered hill straddling two valleys, south-west facing with all-day sunshine, it enjoys an elevated position affording stunning views of the various distant inland valleys and the Bernia mountain ranges which act as a backdrop to the most mesmerising sunsets.
The villa was built in the Castellion style, with an interesting bright circular principal room taking full advantage of the surrounding countryside. The position and design enables the villa to keep cool during the heat of the day.
The property is extremely well maintained and furnished in high quality modern furnishings which are comfortable and blend-in well with the Spanish antique furniture.
With the plot enjoying maximum sun hours each day, there are various terraces laid out for sitting/sunbathing should one wish to enjoy aspects of the gardens and views. A further, very large, 85' long terrace affording additional secluded, pine tree sheltered dining and enjoying uninterrupted distant views of the sea via the El Portet valley. The mature garden has been professionally landscaped with various Palms, Conifers, huge bustling Poplars, Mimosa, seasonal flowering trees and plants including the obligatory Geraniums and Bougainvillaea.
The accommodation comprises of a bright, large triple aspect circular lounge, well furnished, with large Digital Satellite television (currently includes BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channels 4 & 5, SKY Movies Premier 1, SKY Sports 1 & 2, SKY 1, Discovery and UK Gold plus the usual free-to-view channels), DVD player, CD/radio/tape player and ceiling fan.
IMORTANT NOTE: These channels were in operation at the time of installation and could change depending on the service providors. We cannot guarantee which channels will be in operation when you are there.
A newly installed separate fully fitted kitchen is well equipped to provide all normal requirements including new appliances such as a large fridge-freezer, microwave, gas hob/electric oven, dishwasher and ceiling fan. Quality English china and cutlery is provided as well as a toaster, filter coffee machine and sandwich toaster.
The tiled roof conservatory (more an observatory) has three double, tinted, windows which open fully and make it a perfect dining room at any time of the day or night. This room is well furnished with a quality colonial-style wicker sofa and chair set and an attractive comfortable dining suite.
There are 3 large bedrooms (2 double and 1 twin) each equipped with ceiling fans. The 2 doubles (one of them accessed separately from the outside) have their own large en-suite shower rooms whereas the twin has a separate large shower room adjacent to it. Each is fully tiled and comprises of a walk-in shower cubicle, wc, and a large wash hand basin.
At the pool level we have a separate indoor second kitchen which consists of a large barbecue, tiled worktops, sink, gas hob, convection microwave, small fridge and a dining table with four chairs and where you will find the built-in safe.
Please note: The 3 bedrooms sleep 6 persons in comfort. The second double bedroom is at pool level and separate from the main accommodation.

A wonderful villa at a great price

My parents booked this villa for 4 weeks in Feb and my family and I joined them for a week. They had stayed in this villa the year before for one week and enjoyed it so much they booked it for their winter stay. The villa had a heated pool so we could use it even in Feb. Such lovely views and it was so beautiful sitting on the pool terrace in the evening with a glass of wine watching the sunset and later the twinkly lights of the nearby village. You need a car here but it is worth it to be able to return to this beautiful haven. But i must say all amenities are literally only minutes away in the car.
