Overview

It has a pretty and well-maintained garden. On the lower level, a few steps from the terrace is the very secluded swimming pool. From the dining end of the villa, is access to a large well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, refrigerator, gas hob and electric oven.

The upper level has a large terraced BBQ area for eating "al fresco"

From the kitchen is a small breakfast room, that also has access to the terrace. From the vine-covered terrace is the main entrance to Mapendo, leading into a split-level beamed lounge and dining area with patio doors to the terrace. Mapendo is comprehensively furnished with antique but comfortable furniture, the lounge has an open fireplace for winter visitors.

The bedrooms can be accessed from the lounge and the master bedroom includes a king size bed, dressing area and an en-suite full bathroom. There are 2 more bedrooms on this level, 1 with double bed and single bed, and another twin bedroom sharing 1 full bathroom.

On the lower level is a double and twin bedroom with 1 full bathroom. Mapendo also has an apartment with 2 twin bedrooms sharing 1 bathroom. Mapendo has the facility to accommodate 14 persons.
