Quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation with pool and stunning view of Lake Vinuela and Mountains. Short drive to the coast and ideal base for touring fascinating Andalucia.

As our pool is not enclosed, for safety reasons we cannot accept Children under 12 years of age; children aged 12 or more are welcome.

We offer 2 Guest Rooms below our detached villa overlooking lovely Lake Vinuela. We are in a stunning Country/Mountain location yet just 20 minutes drive from the coast of the eastern Costa del Sol making this the perfect base for an Andalucian holiday. Car hire is essential and safe parking is available on our drive.

Children - Sorry, we cannot accept children under 12. No pets.

Both of our Guest Rooms have En Suite facilities and they share use of our 8m x 4m Swimming Pool.

Free WiFi access for guests with a laptop computer: use of our computer in the main house for people without a laptop.
No smoking allowed in Guest Rooms but smoking permitted on outdoor terraces.

Relax on one of our terraces where sunbeds and parasols are provided.

Our 3 closest villages are Los Romanes, Puente Don Manuel and La Vinuela - all within a 7 minutes drive; these are traditional villages where you will find a good selection of restaurants and bars plus a Bank, Pharmacy, a few small shops and very friendly people.

Malaga is a 30 minutes drive or, to save the hassle of finding parking space in the city, take the frequent bus from Torre del Mar on the coast. Malaga is a fascinating city with superb architecture, museums, a castle and fortress to rival the Alhambra at Granada, excellent shopping, good beaches and great/traditional restaurants and bars to suit all pockets.

We are on a small urbanisation of detached, individually designed Andalucian Villas situated just 50 meters off the road to Los Romanes village and only 400 meters from a main'A' road.



Unlike most roads up to 'campo' properties here in Spain, the road up to Casa Ianda is fully asphalted so no rough track! Also, as this is a private development, there is no through traffic to disturb you.



We are 20 minutes from the coast at Torre del Mar on the eastern Costa del Sol and have many 'Pueblos Blancos' (traditional White Villages) within a few minutes drive. The popular coastal resort of Nerja is 30 minutes drive. Our 2 closest airports are at Malaga (50 minutes drive) and Granada (80 minutes drive).

Amenities & services

Our first Guest Room measures a compact but comfortable 9 square meters. It has an En Suite Shower Room with wash basin and toilet. The bed is a Double and the room has a full bedroom suite plus a well stocked book case, Coffee Table with a kettle and hospitality tray plus fridge/mini bar and hairdrier. A powerful ceiling fan provides Summer ventilation and Winter heating is provided by an Oil filled radiator. Our second Guest Room is immediately next door and is much larger at 25 square meters. It has similar furnishings to the Double Room but the beds are Twins (although these are generally pushed together to make a King Sized Double); the room also has a Dining Table and 4 Chairs. This room can accommodate up to 4 people by the addition of two single Z Beds. Daily Maid Service is provided with towels changed daily and bedding every 3-4 days in Winter and every other day in high Summer. Guests have unlimited use of our 8m x 4m Swimming Pool. Our CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST is included in the price and consists of:- choice of Cereals, choice of Fruit Juices, Fresh Fruit, Croissants + Toast with Jams and Butter, Cheese + Ham (or Smoked Salmon if you prefer), Yoghourt, 2 x 1.5 litre bottles of Mineral Water, litre carton of Milk and a selection of Teas and Coffees. A full cooked ENGLISH BREAKFAST or CHAMPAGNE + SMOKED SALMON BREAKFAST are available instead at a Euro 8 per couple supplement. In Winter Breakfast is served up in the main house, in Summer it is served on the Terrace outside your room. Access to our Guest Rooms is down a flight of 19 outside stairs so the accommodation is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties; there are also 4 steps up to the Family Room. You have direct access to your room via the pool terrace, so do not have to come through the main house, giving you total freedom to come and go as you please. You are encouraged to treat 'Casa Ianda' as your home from home.
