We talk about Cortes (Parliament) neighbourhood, known as Barrio de Las Letras (Liberal Arts Neighbourhood) for its tradition as distinguished (and not so many) intellectual and artists'residence. Recently refurbished as pedestrian area, recovering part of the original walking path from Royal Palace to Retiro's Garden. Bordering on Paseo del Prado, we found ourselves full in the axe of big museums and reside Atocha Railway Station. On the other side, limits with Puerta del Sol (Sun's Gate).



As well as being beside museums and near any interesting tourist place, also the neighbourhood itself has the most full of range restaurants, taverns, pubs, snack bars, cafés and piano bars offer of the city. Ideal to "tapear" (take appetizers) from bar to bar.
