Overview

Completed in January 2007 our apartment Mar Menor, with a private roof terrace, communal pool and garden, is on the 3rd (top) floor. There is also a nice balcony which is south facing and catches the sun from early morning to late afternoon - great for a chill out lunch and a glass of wine (or 2)
The surrounding area is very flat and as such is excellent for walking and cycling. Bikes can be hired locally.
La Salinas nature reserve, complete with flamingos, is close by, and over the sand dunes is the Mediterranean!
The beach at Lo Pagan can be reached within 5 mins by car with some beach side parking. This area has a large sandy beach gently sloping into the Mar Menor - great for children. There is also a long promenade walking area, with access to the mud baths, around the top end of the Mar Menor.
San Pedro town, with its shops, supermarkets, and restaurants, is about 10 mins walk.
The Dos Mares (Two Seas) shopping complex is about 10 minutes drive away with a large Eroski supermarket, numerous shops, cinemas and restaurants.
The newly opened Hotel Thalasia is two minutes walk away offering restaurants and bars.
A Thalassotherapy Centre with swimming-pools with different temperatures, Jacuzzi, marine circuit, bithermic showers, sauna, cold swimming pool, relaxing room, and much more, is next to the hotel.

Location & area

Our apartment in the Mar Menor (Little Sea) is in a unique area on the east coast of Spain, within the region of Murcia.



Featuring both a saltwater lake and a Mediterranean shore with the salt water lake having an area of 170sq.km, the largest salt water lake in Europe!



Lo Pagan is known for its therapeutic mud baths, the mud is renowned for its healing powers. The mud is applied over the skin and allowed to dry in the sun before being washed off in the salt waters. The salt water itself is also known for its healing effects.



With so much water here there is no wonder that the area is a haven for watersports. The possibilities here are endless from sailing to diving, windsurfing and jetskiing.

This small balcony houses the water heater and washing machine.It has a view over the communal pool and garden and is an ideal spot to catch the late afternoon sun.
