Situated an hour from the famous ancient cities of Cordoba, Granada and Malaga, Casa La Celada is a perfect location for visiting some of the most famous landmarks of Andalucian Spain, including Cordoba's Mezquita, Granada's Alhambra, Sacromonte, Albaycin and the Alcazaba in Malaga. And if you need a day with the sand between your toes, Málaga is just 45 minutes' drive. The Sierra Subbetica mountains are right on our doorstep and offer a step back in time - driving through the mountains, you stumble across both small and surprisingly large traditional white mountain villages, bustling with activity. The markets are always a treat - buying locally cured ham, cheeses or olives. A day in the Subbetica is a must, visiting any or all of The Mountain villages : Priego de Cordoba, Carcabuey, Cabra, Zuheros, Lucena, Rute, and Luque. .... For those wanting more structure to their holiday, we can arrange horse riding treks, quad bike tours,canyon descents, canoeing, moutain bike tours, archery, potholing, guided snow boarding, paintballing, hot air ballooning and many other activities including yoga days, pilates days, painting days and pamper days and photography courses. La Celada is a peaceful, small village set into the rolling olive groves that are so typical of Cordoba. 3km from Iznajar and 8km from Rute it is perfectly situated for "action" and "peace" ...



Our village has a very well equipped shop and a charming old world bar, and at the end of the road is one of the best restaurants around!

The house is a large property over three floors. Our guest accommodation is on the ground floor. On the first floor we have a vast sitting room with TV, DVD & Video player, books, games and lovely woodburning stove for winter visits. There is a balcony which overlooks the Plaza de San Jos' where real Spain can be observed with a cup of coffee and a book.



Our first floor is also where you will find our huge kitchen with all mod cons.



On our top floor we have a beautiful roof terrace with far reaching breathtaking views of the Sierra Subbetica mountains which can be enjoyed from our hot tub, sunbathing or reading in the shade.



Our suite is a four poster wrought iron room with separate sitting area and en suite jacuzzi bath with walk in Grecian shower. Our twins share a gorgeous canopied bathroom with bath and walk in Grecian shower.
