Overview

The entrance to the holiday apartment leads directly into the attractive L-shaped living room. Leading off this large room are the kitchen and the balcony, and a few steps to a gallery, off which are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The terrace, two of the bedrooms and the kitchen look out onto the pool courtyard. Xàbia Port (Xàbia is the name for Jávea in the local Valenciano language - pronounced 'Shabia') has private grounds, with little footpaths, courtyards and gardens adorned with plants, trees and shrubs, giving the place a delightfully intimate character. Close by are the harbour, the fishermen's church, the Club Nautico, fish market, and waterfront with good restaurants, cafés, bars and other attractions, mostly open year-round. A 3-5 minute walk takes one to the local pebble beach - gently-sloping, with clean sea and lots to watch. To the far side of the harbour is a rocky cove with a beach bar. The historic town of Jávea is nearby, and the popular Arenal beach, with all its attractions, is five minutes away by car or bus. There are some good golf courses nearby. The apartment is not suitable for children under 5 years old.

Location & area

The Costa Blanca or 'White coast' is a stretch of the Spanish coast that extends along the Mediterranean and corresponds to the province of Alicante. It is made up of two clearly defined scenic sectors. To the north a curtain of mountains runs parallel to the sea, descending at times to form cliffs. To the south, a vast plain of sand patches, palm trees and salt deposits make up a backdrop for the beaches.
Local cuisine : The costa blanca offers an enormous variety of exotic dishes. Most importantly, it is the home of the world famous paella, available in most of the local Spanish restaurants and a treat not to be missed! In addition, throughout the region you will find a number of Swiss, India, Chinese, Italian and English restaurants, servicing excellent food.
