Overview

San Esteban is in a nice complex of Spanish style apartments surrounding a large garden with plenty of grassed areas and a pool with shallow children’s section. The apartment is on the ground floor and faces south with a full width terrace.
The beach, Javea Port, the Arenal sandy beach, shops, restaurants, bars and supermarket are a short walk.
The apartment has a double and a twin bedroom each with a built in wardrobe, bedside tables, a dressing table with large mirror and ceiling fan.
The bathroom has a bath with shower attachment, washbasin and WC.
The kitchen features a hob and oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
There is ample hot water provided by an instant gas fired boiler and gas central heating throughout for the winter months.
In the lounge is a circular dining table with chairs, coffee tables and a two seat and a three seat settee. The lounge has a floor standing fan.
There is also a 28inch colour television that receives 24 English channels including BBC television and radio, ITV, Channels 4 and 5, Sky Sports and Movie channels. There is a DVD player (DVD's can be hired locally) and a music centre for CD's, cassettes and local English radio stations.
On the terrace is a table and chairs, sun loungers and a portable barbecue.
There are restaurants and a supermarket within a short walk of the apartment.

Location & area

Javea (Xabia) is situated between the San Antonio and de la Nau capes and around this area are hidden caves and bays which were once used by pirates and smugglers in the Middle Ages. These beautiful bays are now used by sunbathers, snorkelers and scuba divers.
The streets in the old town of Javea are well worth exploring and here you will find a magnificent fortified Gothic church (San Bartolome) and a very good museum which explains the history of the coast from Palaeolithic times through Iberian, Roman and Medieval times. (Museo Etnografico 'Soler Blasco'.
