Pretty 'Villa Jax' Parcent is has a large, level, sunny private landscaped, gated garden in 'Real Spain'. Surrounded by the spectacular mountains of the green Jalon Valley, famous for its vineyards and ancient whitewashed villages. The Villa is in a peaceful setting, close to a village yet far from the madding crowd. It's an easy 20-40 mins drive to beaches, golf, theme and pleasure parks. Relax by your own private 8x4 mtrs swimming pool where there is plenty of places to sunbath or escape the heat under the dapple shade of olive trees and the Gazebo. Large BBQ and outside eating areas. Play boules in the purpose built court or just laze in the hammock. Inside the villa, the furnishings are good quality and modern. Decor is light, clean neutral shades. Very well equipped, clean kitchen with electric oven, gas stainless steel hob, modern stainless steel extractor, microwave oven. Washing machine. Air con in both bedrooms. Two comfortable settees in the lounge (one a double sofa bed). Lovely dining suite. The bathrooms are light and clean, one with full bath. Satellite TV (UK channels)DVD/CD and Video player(large selection for you to watch. The villa is located at the end of a cul de sac and (no main roads nearby), overlooking vineyards, olive, orange, almond groves and the delightful village of Parcent where the local people are very friendly. It is a 10 minutes walk to the Village, where there are 2 bakeries, a bank, 2 general stores, weekly fruit and veg market. At least 6 good restaurants in walking distance, from paella to Italian pizza to typical spanish tapas bars. The rear garden is gated for added peace of mind for little ones. There is ample off road parking for 3-4 cars and a ramp for wheely cases. Our local agents speak English.

Location & area

Villa is located on the edge of pretty Parcent village in the Jalon Valley. Surrounded by countryside. At the foot of the Carrascal and Col de Rates Mountain ranges (part of the Marina Alta). Close to waymarked footpaths, both strenuous and easy.

20-30 minutes drive from Calpe, Denia, Moraira and Javea's white beaches and resorts.

40 Minutes drive to Terra Mitica Theme park and Munda Mar Water park. 20 mins to Vergel animal safari.

1.10 hours drive north of Alicante Airport and 1.15 hours south of Valencia Airport. and chic promenades.

Jalon (5 mins drive)is renowned for its local Bodegas (wine cellars) where local farmers still grow grapes and produce their famous wines for you to sample and buy. The Saturday Rastro (Flea) Market is a must to visit, one of the largest on the Costa Blanca. Popular with day trippers.

In February/March the whole valley is is a sea of Almond blossom. In May the heady scent of oranges and lemon blossom, still farmed by the locals. Wild flowers are everywhere in the spring and early summer. Birdlife is abundant.

If rural Spain is what you are looking for with beauty and mountain views, you could not fail to be wowed by the splendour of the green Jalon Valley. There are also some wonderful mountain roads further inland worth exploring. A car is essential. However, cyclists, walkers, climbers, horse riders and environmentally conscious tourists will not be dissappointed with this area of Spain.
