Overview
Our two bed-roomed, air conditioned apartment for rent in Spain is located in the pretty Spanish town of Isla Plana, just outside Puerto de Mazarron on the Costa Calida, Murcia with uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean. The beach being 150 meters away.
The Costa Calida is a 250km stretch of Mediterranean coastline in the Spanish province of Murcia with many blue flag beaches. The area has a micro-climate which features comparatively hot annual temperatures, rarely falling below 18°C with an average of 300 days of sunshine, hence the name Costa Calida 'warm coast'
Although not as lively as the traditional Costas, Costa Blanca and Costa Del Sol, Isla Plana and Puerto de Mazarron offer numerous bars and restaurants where your are able to sample traditional authentic Spanish cuisine.

All the amenities you require are in Isla Plana and Mazarron:- several banks and cash machines, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, opticians, dentists, tourist information, even a Vodafone shop !
If you like adventure sports and being close to nature, you are in the right place. - To the north of Mazarron through Totana or Alhama, you will find the beautiful national park, Sierra Espuna. The views are spectacular. Along the journey you will find a few small bars and restaurants serving good quality reasonably priced food. There are a number of walks signposted, if you are lucky, you will see wild boar and red squirrels. Sailing/diving can be undertaken at any time of year and the clear waters and rich flora & fauna offer diving enthusiasts some highly interesting depths.
