Our luxury 3 bed, 2 bath penthouse apartment overlooks the beach at Isla Canela in Costa de la Luz, Spain. Here you will find 7km of lustrous golden sand and shimmering blue sea safe for bathing. Nearby are 7 golf courses, together with trips to Seville, to the Coto Donana, or by boat up the river Guadiana. The apartment is well furnished, with a/c and ch. Linen and towels are provided, as are welcome packs of tea, coffee, milk, bread, cheese and mineral water etc. to save you setting out immediately for provisions.Opportunities abound for sunbathing, watching the boats in the pretty marina and just generally relaxing. Equally you can visit the surrounding Andalusian towns and villages, enjoying local delicacies.This is an exclusive, gated development, with 2 pools, paddle courts and a children's play area and private parking. It is only ten minutes away from Portugal across the Guadiana river, offering the best of two countries.
New additions this year are: a separate dining room built on to the sitting-room and overlooking the beach, and a garden area which we have created on the terrace.

Location & area

Isla Canela, which means the Island of Cinnamon, is a small island in the mouth of the Guadiana river which runs between Spain and Portugal. It is connected with the mainland by a causeway 5 km from the lovely Spanish town of Ayamonte in the region of Huelva in Andalucia, and is sometimes known as the gateway to Spain.The beaches have been voted amongst the 6 best in Spain. It is a magnificent area for golfers, with Isla Canela course less than 10 minute drive, and an additional 5 courses within an hour away. You are also just over an hour from historic Seville, home of tapas and flamenco.
