On the southeast coast of the island, 2 miles southwest of Es Cana, 9 miles northeast of Ibiza Town 13 miles northeast of the airport. Backed by pine-covered hills, in a semicircular bay next to the only river in the Balearic Islands, which sometimes runs dry. The town centre boasts a charming central square that leads to the seafront promenade through a palm-lined avenue. The town beach is flanked with restaurants and bars to keep you happy and refreshed, whilst the centre is sprinkled with pretty cafes to chill out in. You'll also find an excellent choice of sandy beaches around the town offering an array of watersports such as sailing, windsufing, pedalos, jetskiing. Nightlife here is low key, so simply while away the evening at one of the pavement cafes. Ideal for families & couples.
