Overview

Cortijo Cayetanas is a restored, traditional, fully modernised farmhouse,near to the Town of Huescar, consisting of 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large fully equipped kitchen/diner, spacious lounge with wood burning stove, satellite TV and radio. An adjoining apartment is available with 2 single beds, lounge kitchen and wetroom, with shower, wc and handbasin, which gives extra accommodation if needed. The whole of the accommodation is ideal for 2 seperate families who want to holiday together, but also want to retain a little privacy.Outside there is a large patio, shaded with a pergola, table, chairs, parasols and BBQ , all overlooking a wonderful valley, with views to the mountains.Ample car parking space. Come and try real Spain, ideal for a quiet romantic break for 2 or all the family.

Location & area

The Cortijo is situated in the small hamlet of San Clemente, with wonderful mountain views. The area is quiet and tranquil and is perfect for people who like their own privacy. A short stroll will take you down to the valley where you will find a running trout stream, and a walk in the opposite direction takes you to the Embalse San Clemente, a breathtaking lake.
The nearest village of Fatima is 6K away by car. It has an excellent Restaurant and Bar called El Mano, several bars, a pizzeria, bread shop, supermarket, butchers and lots of wonderful characters.
There is also a bar overlooking the Lake which is open at the week-ends.

The local Town of Huescar is 15K and is a typical Spanish Town with all the facilities you can wish for. Market Day is Thursday - this is a must do.

Castril is 16k away and is situated on the edge of the National Park, where Horse Riding can be arranged. (only for the experienced). Castril also has a visitors centre and open-air swimming pool.

Granada is 1.5 hours away. Visit the Alhambra Palace, along with all the culture and shopping you could wish for.



Other activities which can be enjoyed include, bird-watching, cycling (2 bikes available) walking, painting, paragliding, fishing, (bring your license) quad biking.
We also have a Pentax telescope for any would be star-gazers.

All rooms are spacious and well furnished with rugs and comfortable soft furnishings.
All windows look over stunning scenery. |If you should wish to bring small children, a travel cot and high chair can be provided.

The property is self catering so no maid service is available. Adequate towels and bed linen are provided, but more are available on request.
