Overview

New apartment in small block set on hillside overlooking village & Genil valley but still only 20 minutes to Granada.The small Andalucian village of Guejar Sierra nestles in the Genil valley and retains much of its historic character. Narrow, winding streets with houses adorned with flowers in summer make it a pleasure to stroll round. This newly built apartment is well furnished & comfortable for 4 persons. There is one double & one twin bedroom, a lounge-diner with comfortable sofas, TV, DVD/CD player. A small selection of music/films/local guidebooks are available to make your stay an enjoyable & relaxing one. A dedicated, secure garage space is available & there is a lift, although the apartment is only on the first floor. The new kitchen is well equipped & has all you may need, pots, pans, blender etc. An ironing board & iron are provided as is a hairdryer. To the lounge there is a small balcony which offers the chance to enjoy a cool glass of wine whilst watching the sun set. Off the second bedroom is a small patio area, useful for drying or storage. Stays from 3 nights will be considered & although the normal changeover day would be Saturday, other days can be considered to take advantage of low-cost flights.

Take a break in one of several bars or walk along the river & enjoy a typical meal in one of the restaurants. Stay in the village & enjoy one of many walks in the surrounding hills or venture further; beautiful Granada with the Alhambra palace & Albaicin area are just a short drive away or the coast is just over an hours drive. Adventure sports are well catered for in the area & the ski resort is within easy range. Jaen, the cave houses of Guadix & the villages of the Alpujarras are also nearby.
