Overview

Traditional Spanish Village house on the edge of the village of Niguelas, so very quiet, and yet very close to the attractions in the area. On the Ground floor is a cosy reception with open fireplace (making it ideal for winter lets also) sofa, 2 arm chairs DVD player and music centre, there is a separate dining room/bedroom 3 with single sofa bed table and chairs, the kitchen is well fitted with Microwave oven, there is a separate utility room with washing machine.
Stairs to first floor with 2 large bedrooms with Juliette balconies comprising one double bedded room and one bedroom with 3 single beds. There is a separate walk in dressing area, and a very modern shower room fully tiled. On the next floor is a traditional Spanish Mirador with sun beds and patio furniture. This is a very private terrace over 2 areas, with room for table and chairs for al fresco dining, or just for lying in the sun. We are flexible on changeover days, as flights are much cheaper Monday to Thursday.

Location & area

The village, Niguelas, is very well provided for as regards shops, and bars etc. There is a chemist, a bank, a tobacconist and several bakers and traditional food shops. There is also a baker and a fresh fish shop just around the corner from the house. The small village market is on Mondays. There is a large market in the nearby town of Durcal every Wednesday morning.

Within half an hour of the beach, or the snow-capped mountains, our charming traditional house in this pleasant traditional Spanish village is a joy. The house is in the quiet part of the village, and you can walk among the orange and lemon groves and along the side of mountain streams with their pure water and see eagles and mountain deer, while the magical city of Granada is only a short drive away. Your only problem staying here is how to fit everything there is to enjoy and relish into only 1 or 2 weeks. Our house is comfortable and fully fitted to ensure you have such a wonderful time that you will, as we do, come back year after year, as each season of the year has its own particular beauties and charm.

Notes : Car Hire recommended. The house has parking to the front, as well as a village car park close by. For heating, the house has oil filled radiators, a new calor gas fire, as well as a real log fire in the reception. We also have ample winter and summer duvets, blankets, curtains, etc. Reductions: 2 or more weeks- 20% discount more for 3 weeks or over
Accessibility: The bathroom is on first floor, so house could cope with some disability visitors, as kitchen and reception on ground floor, No steps in street, and dining area could be downstairs bedroom.
Changeover day: Flexible to take advantage of cheaper midweek flights
