Location & area
Five minutes drive from Moraira town centre and its beaches, shops, cafés and restaurantes. Less than 1km to local SuperG supermarket, shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. One hour drive from Alicante Airport. One hour 40 minutes from Valencia Airport.
Moraira is one of the loveliest destinations on the Costa Blanca. There are no high-rise buildings here; just sun, sand, gardens, cafés, bars and restaurants and a couple of small but lively nightclubs.
Moraira's main beach has a restaurant and bar/cafe serving food and drinks all day long. You can snorkel around the rocks or sun yourself with a good book all day long. Moraira town center is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach for delicious ice creameries, cool drinks and restaurants.
Just out of the town center, don't miss the Cafe del Mar. A fabulous cocktail bar that does a mean pina colada for just 5. The mojito's are great too! (Crushed mint and cane sugar with rum, crushed ice
and topped up with soda water.) Enjoy Café del Mar famous chillout style techno music - a popular hangout for the young and trendy late on Friday and Saturday nights. Algas bar right on the sea next to Café del Mar is a top local spot too.
Moraira has thrived over the last few years. It is one of the more 'upmarket' areas on the Costa Blanca but has retained it's 'small village' feel. It has recently enjoyed some local governmet investment
into parks and gardens and a new community centre. Moraira has a great variety of fashion, homewares and gift shops as well as cafés and restaurantes. Enjoy local, traditional spanish cuisine or a variety of multicultural flavours including, Thai, Himalayan, Indian, French, Swiss, German and much more.
Visit 'el Portet' beach and enjoy drinks and food along the promenade while the children play on a lifeguard monitored beach where you can see them. Dine at one of Moraira's three Michelin star restaurants 'el Dauphin' or enjoy a paella or other traditional treats at the local restaurant. You can also hire canoe's and paddle boats for a small cost.
Don't miss the markets! Every Friday from around 10am, the markets are the place to find great bargains including handbags, shoes, clothes, gifts and much more. This is the best place to buy fresh, local produce at a great price.
If you tire of relaxing by the pool or at the beach, there are some fabulous outings close by. Terramitica is one of Europe's big theme parks, and there is also Aqualandia and Terra Natura theme parks. Visit the beautiful Font's D'Algar with nature trails and waterfalls. There are also fabulous restaurants where you can try one of the local specialties such as fideua (paella but with small macaroni instead of rice,) while the kids splash about in the swimming pool at the restaurant. There are plenty of day trips to local towns such as Javea (don't miss the Austrian café for breakfast!,) Gandia, Denia or Calpe where you can enjoy beaches or a walk up the famous Peñon D'Ifach to see fantastic views (across to Ibiza on a good day!) Valencia is a worth the two hour drive to take in its fabulous culture, architecture, shopping, dining and nightlife. The ancient fort at Guadalest is a must see.

Ask them for contact details for guests who have previously stayed on their property insisting on telephone numbers. Be suspicious of emails that originate from free email services (yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc)
