Overview

Situated between the port towns of Javea & Denia on the Costa Blanca the Villa offers comfortable and spacious accommodation to sleep 8 persons. Villa Lantarna is a rural retreat set amongst the mountains and idyllic almond groves of the Javea Valles and yet is only 10 minutes from sandy beaches by car. The property has a large 10mx5m pool, sun terraces and colourful tropical gardens with mature shady palms. The kitchen and also the master bedroom look out on to a traditional west facing walled courtyard with a fountain and BBQ area.

Here you can watch the evening sun set behind the ancient ruined windmills of the Tres Molins or get ready for a special night out. The kitchen has mountain views over vineyards and valley beyond and French doors which open to the Naya, (large covered terrace) with dining table and comfortable sofas. A place to dine alfresco whilst looking out over the pool or take things at a slower pace with a good book or a glass of the locally produced wine.Outside The garden has a *lawned recreation area and seating to suit the wide aspect views and time of day. The terrace has six sun loungers, patio seating, large parasol as well as a traditional tiled table where you can enjoy a poolside drink. Villa Lantarna is the perfect place to stretch out in a hammock and enjoy a care-free time away from it all.
The master bedroom is spacious and air conditioned with antique rustic floor tiles as well as a ceiling fan and French doors that open to the courtyard. There is a en-suite bathroom, spacious shower room as well as a third guest bathroom. The living room has a large Tosca stone fireplace, arches and traditional wooden beamed ceiling. Sky TV and Spanish terrestrial tv are available as well a music centre and comfortable sofas. There is a dining room and reception area with sofas and second television.

Location & area

Near the enchanting villages of Gata de Gorgos known for it\'s basket weaving and guitar factory and Jesus Pobre with it\'s picturesque tree lined square, bars and restaurants as well as the five star golf resort of La Sella. Javea can be found sheltering under the magnificent Montgo (elephant) mountain and is surrounded by Mediterranean forest, orange, olive and almond groves. Javea is situated an hour in either direction from both the international airports of Alicante and Valencia and is divided into three distinct districts: The historic medieval town, with its white washed houses, narrow cobbled streets and Gothic fortified church of San Bartolome; the fishing port with its marina, restaurants and piazzas; and El Arenal the bustling heart of the sandy palm lined bay with it\'s long promenade filled with lively bars and shops offering a wide variety of family entertainment. Javea\'s unspoilt coast line and mountainous landscape make it an area of outstanding natural beauty.
